Designing a New Way to Shop Online for the Next 200 Million Internet Users in India
OVERVIEW
It's late 2019 and short form content is really taking off in India. Tiktok's growth curve in India was one for the dreams and few other companies want to take a bet. Around this same time, Flipkart decided to launch 2GUD, an influencer led socio-commerce app aimed at the next 200 million internet users in India. As luck would have it, I found myself in one of the front seats of this adventure and was a part of building this entire consumer facing app.
